How to Watermark a PDF — 4 Simple Steps

  1. Upload your PDFAdd one document up to 50 MiB and 1,000 pages. It stays in this browser tab.
  2. Choose text or imageType the words to stamp, or upload a PNG, JPG or WebP logo. Transparent PNG and WebP backgrounds are kept.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I add a watermark to every page of a PDF?

Yes. All pages is the default, so uploading a PDF and pressing Add Watermark stamps the whole document.

Can I watermark only specific PDF pages?

Yes. Choose Custom pages and write a range like 1, 3, 5-8. Anything outside that range is left exactly as it was.

Can I use my company logo as a PDF watermark?

Yes. Switch to Image Watermark and upload a PNG, JPG or WebP. A transparent background is kept — no white box is added behind the logo.

Can I change the watermark opacity?

Yes, anywhere from 5% to 100%. The default of 30% is usually readable without obscuring the page underneath.

Can I rotate the watermark?

Yes, to any angle between −180° and 180°. Text starts at −45°, which is the familiar diagonal stamp.

Can I repeat the watermark across the whole page?

Yes. Turn on Repeat to tile it, and adjust the horizontal and vertical spacing if the default pattern is too tight or too sparse.

Is my PDF uploaded to Tiny Tiny Tools?

No. The PDF, the watermark image and the text you type all stay in this browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server.

Does watermarking change the original PDF?

No. The file on your device is untouched; the tool produces a new PDF and leaves the page count, page sizes, rotation and order alone.

Can I remove a watermark later?

Not reliably. The mark is drawn into the page content rather than stored as a separate removable layer, so it may not come off cleanly. Keep the original PDF if you will need an unmarked copy.
