Will the PDF be searchable?
No. Each page is a photograph. Creating searchable text would require OCR, which this tool does not perform.
Why will it not accept my PNG or screenshot?
PNG sources need different advice — their transparency is flattened and they need a higher quality setting — so they have their own tool at PNG to PDF.
My iPhone photos are rejected. Why?
Recent iPhones save HEIC, not JPG, even when the file looks like a photo. Run them through the HEIC to JPG converter first, then bring the JPGs back here.
Does the quality slider make my photos sharper?
No. It only controls how much detail is discarded during re-encoding. Nothing here can add detail the camera did not capture; 100 simply discards the least.
Why did my pages come out in the wrong order?
The picker returns files sorted by name, not by the order you selected them. Zero-pad the numbers in your filenames, or fix the sequence afterwards with the page rearranger.
Can I put two photos on one page?
No. Every photo becomes its own page. Combining images onto a single page is a layout job for an editor, not a converter.
