Do image files get uploaded?
No image-processing request sends selected file bytes to Tiny Tiny Tools. Processing and download generation happen in the browser.
Why can two images with the same dimensions have different sizes?
Detail, texture, noise, color complexity, transparency, format, and compression settings can change the encoded byte count dramatically.
Will converting an image improve its quality?
No. A new format can be better suited to a workflow, but it cannot reconstruct detail missing from the source.
Are animated images supported?
No. GIF is not accepted and animated WebP is rejected so the tools do not silently discard extra frames.
What happens to photo metadata?
The tools create new canvas-based output and do not copy source EXIF, GPS, camera, capture-date, or color-profile metadata.
