How tool explanations are created
Tool copy is written for the specific interface and method implemented on that page. It should identify accepted input, generated output, calculation or processing method, assumptions, rounding, important limitations, and a useful next step. Generic text is not added simply to make a page longer.
Formulas and conversions
Calculation logic is kept in typed source modules and covered by unit or boundary tests where practical. Worked examples are checked against the same formula or conversion constants used by the tool. Financial and health results are estimates and include appropriate limitations rather than promises.
Sources
Primary and authoritative sources are preferred for health guidance, standards, official date tables, regulated values, and platform specifications. A source supports the relevant fact; it does not imply that the source endorses TinyTinyTools. Time-sensitive rules must include an applicable date or financial year and a maintainable configuration before publication.
Testing and review
Changes are reviewed against representative valid, invalid, boundary, mobile, keyboard, metadata, and download cases in proportion to their risk. Each maintained guide shows a review date. A review date means the page was checked; it is not a certification or guarantee.
Independence and corrections
TinyTinyTools does not publish paid rankings, fabricated reviews, or invented usage claims. Errors can be reported through the contact page and are handled under the Corrections Policy.
